Eating tasty foods that have sugar, carbs, and dairy can sometimes cause your skin to be oily. Over washing your face can lead to dryness this leads to overproducing of oil around your face. Using the wrong makeup still contributes to acne breakouts especially when you make up that clogs pores.

Most people can see their oils in their skin fading away in time especially after puberty. However, a few special people like me and you are not too lucky. Let’s both blame our parents again for our oily skin.

Still, it is never too late for us to kill that shine… on our faces! There are four simple steps to help you reduce oil and prevent acne breakouts in your skin. You must follow these 4 steps from morning to night so you can be able to finally cut off the shine and prevent acne in your skin.

4 Simple Steps In Taking Care Of Your Oily Skin

Before we dive in, there are two main goals for you to remember in helping you take care of your oily skin. The first one is to cleanse thoroughly without stripping away natural oils. The second one is to squelch the shine and prevent breakouts. You must make sure that your skin must be cleansed, moisturized, treated and protected throughout the day.

First Step: Cleanse your face

The first step is you can wash your face twice a day with a non-soap cleanser specifically for oily skin. If you have an acne breakout on a regular basis, you can use a cleanser which contains salicylic acid, which calms down inflamed skin and clears out clogged pores that lead to acne.

Here are a few cleansers that you can try out:

Second Step: Moisturize
